Almont is never an easy match up and Capac struggled to get much going on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

Quarterback Brandon Muzljakovic was able to throw for 50 yards and the defense had its moments, but overall it just wasn’t the Chiefs’ night. Danny Navarro led the rushing attack with only 16 yards.

This week is only going to get more difficult as Capac travels to Algonac. The Muskrats are 2-1 but are unbeaten in the BWAC, and in week two, they blew out the same Almont team that topped Capac, 28-7. They’re also coming off of an extremely dominant win over Imlay City, 41-7.

Algonac is so very strong on both sides of the ball and their only loss of the season thus far came against a high-powered Marine City team.
